Steve "Dr. Death" Williams has lost his battle with cancer at the age of 49. Williams had fought courageously for several years, undergoing often painful chemo treatments in an effort to battle cancer of the esophagus.
"Dr. Death" was a mainstay in Bill Watts Mid-South wrestling and was a legendary performer in Japan as well as a stand-out college football player for the University of Oklahoma.
Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to the friends and family of "Dr. Death." The wrestling world has lost one of the true greats.
